Abstract:

Why highly efficient melt filtration? Product quality is heavily dependent on melt quality. Even the input material is of pure and unstable quality the demand is for high quality, for consistently high quality R-pellets to use higher proportions in new products. To ensure the quality requirements it is important to know the characteristics by on-line quality control.

Wolfgang Poessenberger entered the plastics machinery biz when joining Krauss Maffei Technologies for injection moulding, following plastics recycling extrusion with an Austria based manufacturer and Leistritz Extrusion Technology in Nuremberg/Germany for Online Rheometer technology.
