Abstract:
The presentation will inform on the different collection systems for Ag-Plastics in Europe. Furthermore it will present the German System ERDE that is based on a free market approach. In the final part, the key success factors for EPR-Systems for Ag-plastics will be analysed.
Bio:
Mr. Jan Bauer is the Managing Director of RIGK GmbH. The company was founded by the plastics industry in 1992. RIGK GmbH is located in Wiesbaden, Germany. For more than 25 years RIGK is developing and operating EPR-systems for plastics packing and plastic products. Jan Bauer is part of the management of the German company. Furthermore he is the head of the agricultural plastics working group in EPRO and a member of the EPRO Board. Moreover he is board member of the circular economy startup plastship. During his career he has developed several EPR-systems for plastic products and packaging. Jan has a degree in International Business Studies from the University of Paderborn.
