Converting Waste Agricultural Plastics into Ammonia: A New Advancement in Chemical Recycling
Ed VanDyne, President & CEO, Plastic 2 Green, Inc.
This presentation will discuss a pioneering technology for making ammonia, a groundbreaking solution in waste management and renewable energy. This innovative process utilizes 100% renewable electricity to transform waste plastic into valuable commodities such as Emerald ammonia, graphene, and carbon nanotubes, while ensuring zero CO2 emissions and no atmospheric pollutants. This technology not only offers a method to tackle the escalating global plastic waste crisis but also aligns with the growing demand for circular economy products in various industries. The presentation will delve into how this approach will reshape waste management practices, by reducing the amount of plastic, going to landfills and getting into the ocean.
Ed VanDyne, based in Loveland, CO, US, is currently the Founder, President & CEO at Plastic 2 Green Inc., bringing experience from previous roles at Tetrahedron Racing Inc., Wave Solar Technologies, Inc., VanDyne SuperTurbo, Inc. and Woodward, Inc..
